UT grad Huay-Bing Law’s short film Benny focuses on an overweight teen who joins the gym that employs his former babysitter as a personal fitness trainer. Does Benny want to get in shape? Or does he just want to reconnect with Amy? A Student Academy Awards finalist, Benny will screen June 9 at the Stateside Theatre as part of The Show’s Best of Austin Short Films and sketch comedy presentation.
