The Hill Country Film Festival
The Hill Country Film Festival runs April 27-30 in Fredericksburg. The lineup includes three films with Austin ties: La Barracuda, The Big Spoon, and Dealt. Now a Fredericksburg resident, former Austinite Brandon Dickerson debuts his new drama, Victor. Other narrative features include Almost Paris, As Far As the Eye Can See, Camino, No Retreat, Therapy, What Children Do and the non-competition entry Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket. Other documentaries include A Force of Nature: Johann Eyfells, Floating Horses: The Life of Casey Tibbs, Gabe, and Walk With Me: The Trials of Damon J. Keith and the non-competition entry Hard to Believe. There also will be short films, a special screening of the Coen brothers’ No Country for Old Men, and a conversation with Lou Grant costar Robert Walden.
